What is Jarmer?
A household app for iPhone that holds the chores, lists and dates, and puts the one thing to do now on your lock screen. It's built for ADHD brains: no streaks, no "overdue", and most days you won't need to open it.
Who is it for?
Mostly couples where one or both of you has ADHD. It works just as well on your own, and for up to four roommates.
How do I get my partner or roommates in?
Me → Customize → Invite. Send the link by iMessage; tapping it on an iPhone with Jarmer opens straight to joining. A household holds up to four people.
Do I have to open the app every day?
No. Notifications come with their buttons (Done, Snooze, Tomorrow, Hand off), and the lock-screen widget ticks things off with a tap. The app is for when you want to look around.
How many notifications will I get?
At most 8 a day by default, and you can lower it. Nothing during quiet hours (9:30pm to 8am unless you change them) except the evening plan you choose. Every notification says why it was sent: Me → Customize → Recent notifications. You can ask for fewer of any kind there.
What happens if I fall behind?
Nothing piles up. Chores that come round when they're getting due simply wait, and missed repeats never stack. Turn on Rough week (Me) for seven days of the smallest version of everything. After a few days away, Jarmer asks what to keep instead of showing a backlog.
Why no streaks or points?
Because they turn a hard week into a failure. Jarmer shows a gentle weekly trend instead, never a score, and never anything red for a chore.
What does the AI do?
It sorts what you capture, breaks big things into small steps, suggests chores and drafts the weekly reset. Everything it does is a suggestion or has Undo. You can turn it off for the household in Customize.
What do the others in my household see?
Shared chores, lists and anything you mark as shared. Private tasks and personal goals stay yours and are never sent to anyone else's phone. Your mood journal (when it arrives) is yours alone.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Jarmer is iPhone-only for now; a web version for a partner on Android is planned.
How do I delete my account?
Me → Customize → Delete my account. If others are in your household, they keep it. If you're the only one, the household and everything in it is deleted.
