Terms
The plain-language rules for using Jarmer.
Who these are with
These terms are between you and Functioning Labs LLC ("we"), which makes Jarmer. By using Jarmer you agree to them. Questions: hello@jarmer.app.
Your account and household
You need an account to use Jarmer, and you're responsible for what's done with it. A household holds up to four people; when you invite someone, they see what's shared in it. You can leave or delete your account at any time in the app.
What Jarmer is, and isn't
Jarmer helps a household keep track of chores, lists and plans. It isn't a medical product, a treatment for ADHD, or a substitute for professional care. AI suggestions are suggestions: check anything that matters before you rely on it.
Using it fairly
Don't use Jarmer to harass anyone, to break the law, to get into someone else's account or household, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.
What's yours
What you put into Jarmer stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Jarmer for you and your household, as the privacy policy says. Jarmer itself, its name and its design are ours.
Paid plans
Jarmer is free to start. If you subscribe to a paid plan, it's billed through the App Store (or, on the web, through Stripe), renews until you cancel, and can be cancelled any time in your App Store or account settings. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. If a paid plan lapses, nothing is deleted.
The service
We work to keep Jarmer running and your data safe, but it's provided as is, without warranties, and may sometimes be unavailable or change. We may add, change or remove features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.
Ending it
You can stop using Jarmer and delete your account any time. We may end or suspend access if these terms are broken, and will tell you why unless the law says otherwise.
Changes and law
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, USA.
